How can you be guilty of committing the heist of the century, when you tucked up in your prison bunk? Sellers, along with cohorts Bernard Cribbins, David Lodge and Wilfred Hyde-White (as the outside man, disguised and a prison visiting vicar), finds a way.
Now, it they can only keep Lionel Jeffries (playing the hard nosed prison screw) from rumbling the whole blag and sending it tits up!!!!

Not an Ealing comedy, but has the feel of one, this film comes highly recommended.

Peter Sellers is supreme in this film but the supporting cast of British stalwarts are excellent too. It is a film I return to again and again and it never fails to improve my mood.

One of my favourite movies of all time; classic Peter Sellers, superb performances all round and a genuinely entertaining Ealing Comedy.

One of the best Peter Sellers films. Consistently under-rated (and often unknown), if you liked the Ealing comedies, this is similar, and one to see for sure!
