Rickman was great, as always, but there just was not a whole lot of depth and movement to the plot. Rated three stars for the acting, otherwise a highly dissappointing film.
Alan Rickman's voice and hands are indeed mesmerizing and incredibly erotic!
Powerful acting from Alan and great script (of course) from Dennis. Mysterious and enticing
I thought this movie was very interesting, but a bit confusing at times, and it didn't help that the sound crew seemed to be asleep for certain parts of the movie! D:
Fascinating story, great costumes, acting everything. I want to see it again but can't find it to rent...Caught it on tv one day.
Kind of boring at times, but Alan Rickman is absolutely, forgive the pun, mesmerizing in it. The sound wasn't great either, possibly because I had a VHS copy from the library (who knows how old THAT was, lol).
