This is probably the worst of the series. It's sorry is stupid and at times it was hard to enjoy. Some bright spots in the movie is Jet Li and Rosamund Kwan thats really about it.
Bad dubbing and bad casting aside this is a good martial arts flick. Some great choreography with Jet Li stealing the show (for a change). Still for an east meets west period piece i fairly enjoed it.

After starring in the first few films Jet Li left the franchise but here he returns along with series regular Rosamund Kwan. Bucking the trend for the Once Upon series we head out to the Wild West where Jet Li loses his memory and gets adopted by Native Americans. The film has the usual array of tremendous action sequences highlighted by Jet Liâs showdown with friend Seven (Xin Xin Xiong). However director Sammo Hung makes some bizarre decisions and allows all manner of crap to appear in the film. The lack of bad guy means Jet Li has no big final fight ahead of him and the acting of the American parts is nothing short of shocking. Stuntman Jeff Wolfe has the biggest role but heâs arguably the best actor among a poor cast. Like any Jet Li film thereâs sufficient martial arts antics to keep things interesting but unlike his best films it doesnât play a major part in the plot. Really disappointing outing. Its not even as good as Shanghai Noonâ¦and I hate Owen Wilson.
Boy, if the movie is like the synopsis, it's going to be one generalization after another.
A good return to the series with Martial arts director Sammo Hung, and the return of Jet Li as for the last time as legend of Wong Fei Hung!
Story again drifts abit compared to the original too, but still the classic theme tune and fights are there!
Jet Li once again as Wong Fei Hung, absolutely amazing character. All together this movie is good, it's more fun to watch if you've seen the first 3 first i think. Kung-Fu in the Old West is nothing new. They fail to do anything interesting with it, save for some good fight choreography in the finale. The American actors and "Native Americans" are bad to the point of embarrassment.
Kung Fu in the wild west sounds cool but it didn't work too well here. Lots of bad acting and cheezy costumes.
A very entertaining sequel that has crazy villains as well as good fights.
LOL! because of the opening scene, i like it already. (= the fight and action scenes are dynamic where quick cuts don't hinder them. but it is boneheaded of sammo hung, writers, and studio to allow perpetuating of damaging stereotypes.
