With an all stars cast, with actors such as Peter Falk, Bette Davis and Glenn Ford he tell us the usual fairy tale, with the usual huge role for the mass media. Davis/Annie sells apples, she told her daughter she is a lady. So, when her daughter comes back from Spain with her Betrothed. Glenn Ford, the superstitious Mr. Cool organizes a big farce, and everybody pretends to be the Prince of Wales.

I think that Frank Capra must've been sleeping while directing this movie. I left the cinema early and kept falling asleep while trying to watch it. I can't believe how many people gave this a good rating.

I love Frank Capra movies. Look out for some gratuitous Ann-Margret singing. My only complaint is it was too long.

Frank Capra's swan song, and the ole heart string tugger. Fun, yet bittersweet. Has you leaving the cinema with a spring in your step and expecting the world to be in glorious Hollywood technicolor.
