HAd its good moments.. "Where art thou dog?!"

I saw this theatres when it was first released. I hadn't seen it since then and I saw it on television recently. It's a terrible film. I don't think the actors are giving it there all in their performances and I think the story is weak.

Over the top, over acted, not very good.

I'm going against the world for this movie. Nicole Kidman is just too damn adorable in this role and there were some really funny moments in this movie that makes it impossible to NOT enjoy. I'm not the biggest fan of Nora Ephron and i've pretty much hated most of her stuff, but this movie I thoroughly enjoyed.

Although I must say, if Will Ferrell and Steve Carrell didn't have their funny improvisational skills, and Nicole Kidman wasn't as adorable as she was, this movie would have downright tanked. This movie would have SUCKED if they weren't in it.

I know many people didn't enjoy this, but I thought it was at least entertaining. i would even go as far as to reccomend it. Bewitched isn't a movie that requires you to think, it isn't a movie to be taken seriously, it's a romantic comedy with funny man Will Ferrell and cute Nicole Kidman. If you can get past some predictable and annoying aspects to this film, you'll be fine. It's not something I would watch again, but I did enjoy it. Nora Ephron, well done!

I can see why I rated this as 'Not Interested'.

It's a nice ride ... There's nothing subversive or edgy about it ... But it's an agreeable piece of Hollywood product.

The artificiality of Bewitched is so exaggerated that it almost works in the movie's favor for the first 20 minutes or so, before that heavy synthetic Ephron odor really sets in.

Screenwriters Ephron and her sister Delia are able to get laughs and make character points even in the moments of laying out a fairly involved exposition, and that's no small thing. That's skilled craftsmanship.

Ephron seems unsure as to whether she's filming a zany retro comedy or a conventional romance, and the film zips back and forth between genres, never really settling.

It is courageously weird -- and that alone casts a spell.
