Quand Bay raconte la fin du monde, il repousse les limites des émotions, ça pleure, ça bouge dans tous les sens, mais ça rit surtout, plus un défouloir qu'une oeuvre, mais ça fait du bien de temps en temps.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think how funny if Bruce Willis would have said "Yippy-ki-yay, motherf---er," (die hard Catch phrase) before blowing up the asteroid.
There is a questionable fine line between seriousness and over the top, but does the job right.
Critic Reviews
I hate Armageddon for what it is: the unholy spawn of The Dirty Dozen and Con Air.full review
The movie is an assault on the eyes, the ears, the brain, common sense and the human desire to be entertained.full review
Along with the rest of the audience, I jumped when I was meant to jump, laughed when I was meant to laugh, and swallowed a lump in my throat when I was meant to feel moved.full review
