Just an opportunity for Sharon Stone to get her tits out again. The sex scenes are laughable, there is absolutely no chemistry between William Baldwin and Stone.
for a film labled under romantic/thriller there was sure a lot of nudity and sex scenes. Now that I seen this version I want to see the workprint of this film which contains an alternate ending which I won't say.
Piece of crap movie that relies on steamy arrangements between William Baldwin & sizzling Sharon Stone to legitimize it.
not a brillant film, what made it really was the ever so sexy Sharon Stone.
another basic instinst ,fatal attrction type moviie!! gr8 if like me was a fan of Sharon stone
I really should have known better. I suppose I did, somewhere deep down in my heart. Any movie starring Sharon Stone and a Baldwin brother is not going to be any damn good.

It starts off all right, but about halfway through I thought that if I saw Billy Baldwinâs bare backside or Sharon Stoneâs bare front side one more time, I would have to turn out to be the murderer and throw them both out the window.
To top it off, thereâs not really any thrills and not really a twist ending. It is actually not a serviceable thriller in any way as I did not care one ounce who the real killer was because I was too involved in being totally grossed out every time Sharon Stoneâs sidekick appeared onscreen to shout vulgarities in a 40s newspaperwoman voice.
The last line of the movie is the best/worst part. Sharon Stone 90s-ly delivers this advice to the extreme voyeur Billy Baldwin: âGet a life.â She might as well have said, âBite meâ or âYou go, girl.â I mean, this movie tries to be everything at once: a Hitchkockian thriller (complete with microfilm-research-at-the-library scene), a softcore porn, a romance, a 90s girl-power movie, a screwball comedy. Pick one and go for it, Sliver. Better yet, donât pick one and get out of here!
I might see it for Polly Walker... and to see how the screenplay got butchered.
But probably not.
Sharon Stone gets fucked in this film. A lot. Surely that's worth an hour and a half of your time? No? Ok, all the more for me then!

This erotic thriller is neither. It had all the sensual abundance of Olive Oyl. Other than a ten minute scene that was almost prescient to the deluge of "reality" TV, it's a dreadful waste of time.
Starring the shittiest Baldwin this side of Stephen. I still wish Sliver 2: The Slivering was a real movie.
How does Sharon Stone still have a movie career. She's been in like 2 good movies.
