Great movie! Has a fine plot, but a cool unique style to it with great, well filmed action sequences.
Great popcorn movie. My favorite parts of the movie are the guitar parts and any shot with Selma Hayek. I mean seriously? My god, how sexy can one woman be?
An action movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. A guy has a rocket launcher in his guitar case. What more do you need to know?
Robert Rodriguez can do no wrong..... when he is making these kind of films. Lo budget and kick ass is his strong point.
WHAT!?????? Its all right. If the kid woulda died it would have been better lol

It isn't the brainless plot that usually accompanies high octane thrill rides. It has a plot that makes sense and actually has some depth to it. It is a great revenge story that is perfectly told by Robert Rodriguez. While it doesn't has the raw fell of El Mariachi, it certainly captures the same ruthless quality.

Desperado is best when Rodriguez lets his playful side cut through the blare of a born filmmaker indulging his first chance at high-end Hollywood fireworks.full review
What happens looks terrific. Now if [Rodriguez] can harness that technical facility to a screenplay that's more story than setup, he might really have something.full review
