A horror classic was beautifully brought to the screen by one of the greatest directors of all time! Two frickin' thumbs up and five big stars!!!

There has never been a Dracula as evil or ominous as the Dracula in this picture. With the combination of Gary Oldman and great make-up artists, the movie transforms Dracula into evil personified. Coppola has a goes for broke style here that's fitting in certain scenes, and bothersome in others. Personally, I wished he would have held back a little, because there are a moments where the style causes the film to lose focus and it interrupts its flow. Aside from that, this updated Dracula has everything you could want in a vampire flick; hot naked babes, a dark storyline, and lots of blood.
What started my Vampire fetish. I was 6! This is what a REAL vampire is. None of that EMO Edward-The-S*P*A*R*K*L*Y-Douche-bag crappola!
We rewatched this and were reminded that this is THE vampire story (book and film) for all time. Kicks all derivatives sorry butts, IMO.
i've seen this movie many times and I really love it. I also have the red dress from the movie custom made for me!
Critic Reviews
The movie is an exercise in feverish excess, and for that if for little else, I enjoyed it.full review
