MANTEGNA: Hey David, I'm thinking of trying my hand at directing. Can you write something for me?
MAMET: Sure Joe. PFFFFFFTTTTTT!!!!!! Here ya go!
MANTEGNA: Thanks.
(Despite my rating, there is a small possibility this movie is great)
This movie is awesome! nothing but pure hardcore swearing for the whole movie! Starts Denis Leary, Peter Falk and George Wendt. Plus i know the old guy at the end of the movie.
Critic Reviews
As drama, it's not much; as a meditation on language and storytelling, it's a treat.full review
A first-rate movie made from one of David Mamet's lesser plays.full review

The film's chief pleasure, a considerable one, is in hearing Mr. Mamet's characteristic idiom ... so close to its real-world source.full review
The piece is a theatrical curio, but no less fascinating for that.full review
