Det er litt for lite action syns jeg, og definitivt for lite slossing! Litt artig med parodien på Jacky Chan, som ikke akkurat er subtil heller. Ok græt er min dom.

Thankfully simple action movies aren't dialog dependent. A sweet amount of guns, flames and explosions. Glass shatters, a bus blows up, a car small enough to fit into an elevator is driven around in a building, it's not too bad. Worth watching just for the helicopter crash. Cheung has a good fight scene too. -The amount of skin shown on Yau and Chow is paltry. -Jet Li doesn't start showing off his martial arts until 70 minutes into it.
Bug-nut CRAZY (yes - WONG JING LEVEL CRAZY), Hong Kong-style, spoof of "Die Hard" is a crash-course in insanity that has to be seen to be believed! See Jacky Cheung dressed in Bruce Lee's "Game of Death" outfit! See Jet Li drive a hatchback car into an elevator and then DRIVE HAVOC on the top penthouse floor of a skyscraper! Marvel at the infamous nunchuck battle scene! This film is definitely one for the "so bad, it's great to watch with friends and alcohol" bin! Catch the subtitled version, the dubbed one is crap!

It starts off aboot on a 'good' level of daft martial arts and just transcends into epic territory towards the end. Let's just say that Jet Li's approach to a hostage situation in a skyscraper is to drive a helicopter into the floor where the hostages are. Also there's a bad guy henchman called 'Kong' and inappropriate flaming piano playing into the bargain. Fucking kick ass film!

Jet Li did the best he could for the role but at the end of the day i think this is a movie that nobody will too much remember in years to come.
a caustic satire of jackie chan while also ripping off die-hard. did that make any sense?
pretty standard action fare, pokes quite a lot of fun at Jackie Chan via Frankie, which got old. not much good fighting until near the end. lots of subtle humor that one could easily miss, which redeemed it for me.
Basically one long shit-talk of Jackie Chan. Chingmy Yau is pretty cute, and Jet's his usual stoic self. It's not a horrible movie, but it's not very good.
