Defiant ones Piper (Laurence Fishburne) and Dodge (Stephen Baldwin) escape from their chain gang when a prison break/shootout begins. Evading rednecks and faceless policemen they make it to Atlanta where "smart-ass" Dodge (who delivers one-liners that do a disservice to smart-asses everywhere) has to recover a computer disk. They are aided and abetted by Cora (Salma Hayek--this time using a funny hat, instead of her breasts, for character development), who takes the convicts in as if she were picking up college buddies from the airport. Maybe she realizes what great guys these prison-garbed buffoons are. They donate money to charity. They save dying rednecks. They rescue little boys from oncoming cars. Unfortunately, they can't save any of Dodge's old associates, like his stripper-with-an-apartment-of-gold girlfriend or his fellow computer hacker, from getting shot up by Cuban Mafia thugs that want that disk! Laurence Fishburne is the main reason to see the film, but that's a stretch, and Stephen Baldwin seems nothing like the same searing actor seen in The Usual Suspects. --Keith Simanton

Pretty decent.. Suffers from its fair share of action movie cliches and bloopers, but it's entertaining and the story will keep you interested until its conclusion.
Wow! this story seemed totally disconnected and disjointed. Almost none of it made sense. really who wrote this?
one positive note the ending was funny
Not a very good introduction to Fishburne for me. Stephen Baldwin (with 'Usual Suspects' excluded) is ehhh... as usual.
It was nothing special. I won't say it was awful and uninteresting, but I've certainly seen better movies out there. The movie had quite a bit of potential but too many loose ends remained at the end of the film thanks to the high number of plot twists.
This film see's this pair on the run from the Law.Food film similar to 48 Hour's and Rush Hour.
crap. baldwin sucks hard. fishburne does little to help. the concept is flawed and played out. dialog is just bad.
some flaws make this movie less than serious. It is kind of cliche and I felt like I had seen this movie 50 times over but nonetheless it was decent enough. My saying is the worst film is not a bad movie but a mediocre one.
What a piece of crap. I had the misfortune of seeing this in the theatre as a double-feature with 'Joe's Apartment' - which turned out to be a way better film.
An enjoyable action buddy film but very middle of the road. Stephen Baldwin is doing a typical Baldwin role in a typical Baldwin acting style of a masturbating chimpanzee. but Laurence Fishburne is brilliant in the role with some fantastic one liners... Salma Hayek has a very 2D role, but still fantastically fit.

Baldwin, in particular, has an appealing bad-boy quality.full review
Fled is a movie without a brain in its head, and it borrows cheerfully from lots of other movies, but at least it has the integrity to acknowledge its sources.full review
