Brilliant car chase, a few really beatiful shots with odd editing, and Bronson, the main reason for watching this, is as handsom as ever. Lacking (to say the least) in script and character developement, though.
On one hand, it's Charles Bronson. On the other hand, HE RAPES HER TWICE.
Good opening car chase, the rest of the movie is pretty much shit. The last 5 minutes are almost ok. Should have just been called boring city.
An early 70's crime film Starring three great actors of that era ; Charles Bronson , Telly Savalas and Jill Ireland.
Brush up on your lip reading for the finale, and check out the mad racist N.O. mammy-themed nightclub - anyone know if that was real?

Also, I'm not very sure if Jill Ireland was the best pick to play such a femme fatale - unlike Catherine Deneuve at François Truffaut's Mississippi Mermaid, she didn't strike me as a deviously clever woman too beautiful for man to resist, but just obnoxious and not really smart. Charles Bronson is, of course, greater than life. He deserved better co-stars and better movies.
Not your average Bronson flick, makes him look like an angel in the Death Wish series.

Very stylish, and the soundtrack by Ennio Morricione is haunting. My only grouse is that the one avail from Netflix includes footage from the Italian version spliced along with the US version but the voices are not dubbed; they are in Italian w/subtitles. Still, highly recommended.
Possibly the best Sergio Sollima movie. The Morricone score will give you goosebumps.
Starter utmerket men blir litt difus underveis. Topp soundtrack, god klipping og Bronson i god form!
Decent Bronsan revenge flick with one hell of an awesome climax. Too bad it's thirty minutes too long.
