Dalton is Dr. Thomas Rock, a scientist whose skills in anatomy are unsurpassed, thanks to his intense study of dead bodies. The law prohibits Rock fr...(read more...) om using fresh corpses for his research, so he has to use rotten corpses brought in by grave robbers, hung criminals, or animals. He enlists the aid of grave robbers Broom and Fallon (Stephen Rea and Jonathan Pryce) to bring him fresh bodies for proper research. Julian Sands plays Dr. Murray, Rock's assistant, who falls in love with a prostitute named Jennie (Twiggy) and discovers when he visits her how Broom and Fallon get their corpses so fresh.
