The most greatest political provocative movie ever made!! Filming with the Oliver Stone style. Supporting by many great actors and actress. Make the audience believe what this film told!!!
Vu une bonne trentaine de fois mais toujours le même plaisir! Un must!
I'm sorry. It was D-U-doubleL, dull. Interview after interview. Full of conjecture while hardly reaching a conclusion

Oliver Stone was at the peak of his career with this film, as from start to finish we are drawn into probably the most controversial investigation of American history, "who killed JFK?" Was it Oswald? Or is he just a patsy? Was there another gunman? Was it the mob? Or did even our own government itself have the president of the United States killed? Will never know for sure, but the movie gives out a lot of possibilities of who could have done it. Stone has in my opinion created one of the most compelling movies of all time, and with a cast as big as Kevin Costner as the District Attorney of New Orleans, Gary Oldman who casted perfectly as Oswald, Sissy Spacek as Costner's wife in the film, Tommy Lee Jones as Clay Shaw and Joe Pesci, how can we not get into this movie. For me the most intense scene in the whole movie, which in fact is my favorite part of the movie is when Costner's meets Donald Sutherland's character "X" and he tells Costner that he thinks the Vice President, LBJ himself could have possibly had JFK killed so he could become the next president which he eventually does, so that they could go to war in Vietnam, which Kennedy was opposed to. The movie has so many facts and opinions you find yourself going "Man this is crazy. No way our government could do this, why would someone even think that?" But really in today's world, it;s possible. As someone who is very involved with the JFK case when ever it appears on tv, I too believe that Oswald is a patsy and was set up by our government and that Jack Ruby killed him to shut him up. So many questions that we want answers to, but we only get theories so it all depends on how you view the movie.
The camera work and star studded cast help but the ham-fisted effect Stone uses on the script with little recognition to the actual facts is really troubling.
An ever-metamorphosizing political thriller with a great cast.

I was very impressed that Stone could keep me interested for over three hours. Just an absolutely amazing cast with great music and the best flow I've seen in a while. This is definitely Stone's best movie. This would be one of the best movies ever if it was actually true. All of the key points made in the film are either total fabrications or improvable. Its still one of the greatest mysteries and especially courtroom dramas I've seen.
a very good cast from a film that asks a lot of questions...kevin costers best film...

However, like the coup d'etat conspiracy it promotes, it reaches farther than it credibly can. For me, it is most notable as one of the films that inaugurated a new wave of endless conspiracy theory fictions that proliferated in the 90s and up to today.
