Movie Info

During a high-speed chase, Joe (Billy Bob Thornton) wrecks his car, in the process killing his young son and crippling his wife, Chrystal (Lisa Blount...(read more...) ). After a 16-year stretch in prison, Joe returns to his hometown in the Ozark Mountains with one goal: to make amends with Chrystal, who still suffers intense physical and psychological pain.
