it was amusing. i liked the characters natalie and mona but everyone else was annoying as hell. i liked the ending though the final ending scene was somewhat reminiscent of that of blow.

typical 90s 'bad cop' film with noir twist and ruined by a painful narration. oldman is always good, but his accent just sounds stupid. Lena Olin drives this baby home - PURE FUCKING EVIL with her sexy tranny voice.

Not bad - the storyline doesn't quite work and the central character isn't rounded enough but there is a f*cked up aspect to it that makes it watchable. Oldman is very good with what he has to work with.

Slightly surreal 90s neo noir with a powerhouse performance by Oldman. Highly entertaining flick for fans of the genre, although the story's end is somewhat flawed.

A classical film noir story - a cop who can not control his greed for money and women and ends up with neither. The plot/dramaturgy doesn't work well but the great cast almost makes up for it - especially Gary Oldman!!!!
