Nicole Kidman was awesome.

I watched this movie near 10 times and each time I found something new in it... And Nicole is genious in this role, that's one of her best, definitely )

She plays a career obsessed weathergirl who is borderline crazy (sometimes when she talks you think she could snap at any moment) and she will do anything to get to the top. Her character reminds me of what maybe the adult version of Flick (Reese Witherspoon) in Election would have been like. A smile on the outside but a psychopath on the inside. Her performance as well as those around her are all done marvelously. Dark comedies are not the easiest to make because you have to make a terrible situation or circumstance funny and Gus Van Sant pulls it off. He is an amazing director and from the opening scene you can tell it’s going to be good. Besides being a dark tale of a murderess trying to climb to the top, the film also contain messages about the media and making/spinning stories. The character Lydia makes many good points in her interview about people wanting their 15 minutes of fame and how deadly that can become. This is just an awesome movie that is worth watching whether as just an entertaining movie or as a guide to killing your husband. Enjoy!

La forma, a saltos temporales y en plan entrevistas, esta tan bien estructurado que no resta sentido a la trama, le da dinamismo y crea el climax idoneo para el final.Excelente Nicole Kidman.

In essence, To Die For is exactly the kind of pretentious, poorly crafted, cold film we come to expect from one-man turkey factory Gus Van Sant. The acting is good.

I thought the sister-of-the-kilt had a better character than Kidman's.
