Pas terrible mais au moins j'ai vu tous les films d'Edward Norton maintenant !
Weird flick, entertaining though. Williams has a classic one liner at the end.
I thought this movie was sooo funny. Robin Williams was spot on.... and to see Norton do something so out of character and do it so well... I loved it.
I saw this a few years ago and loved it...of course it might be because of the fact that it was 2:00am and I was half asleep...but still.
A colossal misfire for all parties involved. Death to Smoochy tries desperately to shock with its humor and fails with each and every one of its tired jokes.
I Think I Enjoyed This A Bit More Than I Should. I Love When Edward Norton Does Something Completely Random And Silly Like This Compared To Some Of His Other More Serious Work.

With Ed Norton as a naive hippy, who would play stay off drug songs to junkies at the free clinic, and Robin Williams as Rainbow (Fucking!) Randolph who would take bribes from parents so their kids could be on his show. This is one of the best comedies I've seen, and I wish it got more recognition than it did.
Norton turns in a great performance. Some of the plot devices don't work and DeVito's direction could have been sharper.
Children's entertainer Rainbow Randolph (a foul mouthed Robin Williams) loses his job and is replaced by goody-two-shoes Smoochy the rhino (Edward Norton playing it cute and unfortunately still coming across as threatening) and he wants revenge. Now this plot is simple and a bit desperate (there is plenty of needless swearing at the start deliberately trying to shock the audience into laughing) but it works for what it is and is funny. But for some reason they decided that the premise wasn't enough to carry the film and added in a load of stuff about the mob and kept changing the villain until it was complicated, confusing and irritating, while there was no consistency of character. As long as it is desperate Randolph versus adorable Sheldon (that's Smoochy when he's not in the suit) it works, but the rest is just boring and unnecessary.
Critic Reviews
There's so much that's just right in Danny DeVito's dark, behind-the-scenes satire of children's television that it's frustrating -- and a bit puzzling -- that the film doesn't quite work overall.full review
In Death to Smoochy, we don't get Williams' usual tear and a smile, just sneers and bile, and the spectacle is nothing short of refreshing.full review
The comedy Death to Smoochy is a rancorous curiosity: a movie without an apparent audience.full review
In all the annals of the movies, few films have been this odd, inexplicable and unpleasant.full review
Death to Smoochy is all noise with very little fun, and almost no restraint.full review
The premise is silly enough to wring out some laughs, but the plot plays out disappointingly.full review
DeVito, who appears as Smoochy's devious agent, errs by pitching the performances too high, making the film feel tight and claustrophobic.full review
