Surrealist humor at its most unrefined. A comic delight hampered only by the fact that they've performed most of these sketches before and done a much a better job.

This film is a greatest hits album from the TV series. This is not a bad thing, however, as in my opinion this is Monty Python at their funniest. No story is necessary for the Pythons to be funny, and their brand of humour seems to work best in the f... (read more)

I laugh at every 4th joke, the others just annoy me... This is the same for almost any Monty Python production...

an interesting collection of at times side-splittingly funny skits. However, the lack of continuity between bits can make for a bit of a scatter-brained watch.

Nothing like good ol' Monty Python humor. Completely random at sometimes - but that makes it that much better!

This one seems more satirically and artistically focused...I wish I can watch the TV version. It must be great~

A selection of some of the best scenes from the series, joined together in film format. Each of the scenes is a winner (as opposed to the Meaning of Life which is more hit and miss) and it scans well for such a disparate group of scenes.

Though a little incoherent at times, the movie did keep me laughing throughout. The animation still creeps me out, as it did when I was a kid, but now it's strangely hilarious.

It doesn't get any sillier. Actually at times it was a little TOO silly! How does that happen?? Anyways, it's Monty Python, so I didn't expect anything less.

Its basically a bunch of stuff from the flying circus jumbled into one movie. Of course, its all the funniest moments though. The dead parrot skit, the idiot olympics, and how not to be seen are my favorites.
