best lyrical movie i ever saw!!, so thats the life of a rockstar!great cast, blended in the scene! good life-lesson 2, gave chills... what a life!! Sex drugs and rock n roll!!(baby!)
Great movie!
This was missing something but it moved smoothly and overall wasn't bad! Yet at the same time, it was missing something!
Inspired by Judas Priest and Tim 'Ripper' Owens, there's cliches abound in this movie. The music's not too bad, but people would have a hard time buying Mark Whalberg (Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch) as a lead vocalist of a heavy metal band.
Fun portrail of someone doing what we'd all love to do...front his favourite rock band.
Critic Reviews
An irresistible movie about a guy who goes on a journey, the kind an audience can't wait to take with him.full review
By the end of the film I conceded, yes, there are good performances and the period is well captured, but the movie didn't convince me of the feel and the flavor of its experiences.full review
The movie is all formula. But then, so is Jack Daniel's.full review
Has enough wit and insight to make it worth watching.full review
A movie lampooning dimwitted '80s heavy-metal rockers was already made much more cleverly. It was called This Is Spinal Tap.full review
