Phone Booth (2003)
Colin Farrell, Kiefer Sutherland, Forest Whitaker
A slick New York publicist (Farrell) who picks up a ringing receiver in a phone booth is told that if he hangs up, he'll be killed... and the little red light from a laser rifle sight is proof that the caller isn't kidding.

Pas le meilleur de Colin Farrell... pour vraiment le connaitre ecouter son film irlandais "Intermission" ou l'excellent Bruge
A really great thriller. Nice and short, but straight to the point and done with great style. Reminds me of Tony Scott. Very well done.
I wonder how much Kiefer got paid to just sit on his ass and talk on the other end of the phone line? Sutherland probably has the best agent in Hollywood.
Cool ass concept, Pretty original. Farrell made an impression on me for sure in this one. And Kiefers voice is scray as hell.
Colin Farrell plays it good as the desperate publicist, whilst Kiefer Sutherland remains constantly creepy and unnerving throughout the whole movie.

Thrilling movie that works and Colin Farrell is great in it... pissanoying but never the less brilliant :)
All in all, not too bad. Colin's voice was a little too whiny and I wish that they guy on the phone sounded like he was on the phone as opposed to sounding like God, but other than that very enjoyable
I read a lot of bad reviews so when I watched it I made sure I skipped through the bits before him getting in the phone booth at 1.5 speed. Keifer Sutherland is blatantly the best thing in it. Keifer Sutherland is blatantly the best thing in it. Colin Farrell's 'Noo Yoik' accent is pretty dreadful, and his acting about as good as you'd expect (i.e. not very). He looks pretty enough but this was clearly a film to see when it was released, since he is so absolutely over now, even as eye-candy. Anyway, back to the film- the supporting cast is dire, but if say it's on TV and you park your brain at the door, so to speak, it's entertaining enough. Rushes along mercifully quickly.
This movie was so much worse than what it was advertised to be. Looked fantastic, but it was horrible. Bad ending, bad direction, and Colin Farrell is like the essence of Brad Pitt's douchebaggy-ness and that's it.
Critic Reviews
The premise is admittedly a killer -- fun to think about, fun to see realized, not so fun to see screwed up in the last half-hour.full review
It's cinematic flash, tarted up with gritty gray-blue lighting and gimmicky photography.full review
A movie that combines a seriousness of purpose with an impish delight in craft, in a way Hitchcock would have appreciated.full review
The movie is Farrell's to win or lose, since he's onscreen most of the time, and he shows energy and intensity.full review
Farrell is a dynamo. And Kiefer Sutherland, whose sniper role is essentially a voice on the phone, matches Farrell subtle shift for subtle shift.full review
