Sure, it isn't as epic or on the same scale as prior films, but it's still a lot better than most. I think the final moments happen so quickly that it's hard to experience a big emotional impact, but it's absolutely worth watching.
Completely disappointing, and not only for Sofia Coppola's laughable performance. The saga should have ended at part II.
I dig that there was a little love story but Sofia Coppola- stick with writing/directing.
The worst in the trilogy. I actually don't like it much but it is important to get closure
Despite Sofia Coppola's dry performance, I can't figure out why this film is as hated as it is by people. Andy Garcia was just amazing in his role, while Sofia Coppola - why was she in the cast?
Why the hate?
Yes, it does rely on you on having seen the previous two film, but then the whole emotional journey wouldn't have be carried through effectively that the film requires from understanding what has happened before.

This is a very good follow up and a fitting end to the saga.
Critic Reviews
It is, I suspect, not even possible to understand this film without knowing the first two, and yet, knowing them, Part III works better than it should, evokes the same sense of wasted greatness, of misdirected genius.full review
