it was not memorable by any stretch of the imagination
but it was not bad either
A good plot, except that I wanted a little more passion in the delivery by the actors
I love Michael Douglas. Gwyneth Paltrow, not so much. Michael Douglas trying to kill Gwyneth Paltrow (who happens to be a cheating slore in this film)? I'm all in!

The best scenes were the ones when appeared Viggo Mortensen, who was awesome in this role. Douglas and Paltrow's acting was good but nothing special. The changes to the story... well some of them were good and others didn't make much sense, but in the end, for being a remake of a Hitchcock film is very acceptable and very entertaining. The thrilling and exciting atmosphere was great, and for that I thank director Andrew Davis for its work.
Taking notes on this 1 too....but how u gon have a PERFECT MURDER but you end up dead? haha lol. So that part I'll have to revise! lol But I just LOVE MICHAEL DOUGLAS on ANYTHING....so its ok, this time
freakin scary husband wanna kill his wife. it's really crazy. and how can that woman be so dumb? lol well it's not a bad movie though
A mediocre thriller that has good actors doing so-so.
The twists never really surprise and there isn't much that makes this memorable.
This thriller was very well put together. Michael Douglas really made my skin crawl and Gwyneth Paltrow was fabulous as always.
The cinematography was pretty and some of the sound design was really effective. A very solid film.
Critic Reviews
None of the amusement gained in watching the performances, unfortunately, amounts to much, as the script, in a desperate attempt to lend action interest to the original, static, puzzle plot, compounds surprise turn after surprise turn.full review
What the film lacks is suspense, surprise (the new ending is a dud) and passion.full review
I think it works like a nasty little machine to keep us involved and disturbed; my attention never strayed, and one of the elements I liked was the way Paltrow's character isn't sentimentalized.full review
...there's nothing about this thriller to prevent it from soon becoming enmeshed in the memory with others in which Michael Douglas wears a starched collar and grits his teeth.full review
