A little too over-dramatic for my taste. Didn't know he and picasso had a little rivalry thing going on. I wonder if that really happened.
Me encanta la pelicula.
No es por nada pero deberian leer el principio de la pelicula.
his life story and tragic death well worth watching also covers his friendship with picasso

Although it is not entirely accurate, it is a good and interesting biographical film. I thought Andy Garcia gave his best performance ever. The entire cast was excellent and convincing, the costumes were amazing, and the sets were fantastic and gave this film a sense of authenticity. I felt sympathetic towards Modigliani for his tragic and sad life and I wished this film was much more seen.

As I have read of his life and experiences and sometimes self-tormented life, I pause and simply enjoy how he decided to live his life. The whys and hows will always swirl amongst us and do not matter. Modi as some called him ( which means cursed) lived for his art till his last breath.
As if I needed a reason, I fell in love with Andy Gracia as Modigliani and cannot imagine any other playing him.
