Excellent movie. Intense, suspenseful, powerful, top notch acting and story.

Great performances from Pacino, Crowe and Plummer. A tour de force.
This is the script that Deniro and Pacino should've starred together instead of wasting their talents on the vapid "Heat". That is no slight to Crowe who delivers one of his usual great performances.

Partly based around the facts that occurred during the real events of 1996, the film compares the journalistic integrity with the want to show and report the truth against the moral dilemma it comes with in protecting an innocent man.
Michael Mann achieves another show stopper here and this is one that should definitely be seen in anyoneâs top 100 films.
4 ½ stars!!
