Total genius. reminds me of the years I worked in an office. This movie is a total fantasy release.
A better-than-average comedy pushed into classic status for it's quotability.
One of my all time favorite comedies. If you work in an office, you'll be able to relate to different parts for sure.
The ultimate work sucks movie. Makes me laugh every time I watch it and always puts me in a better mood. So many one liners and the characters are all perfect. Without this film, there would be "NO OFFICE." Mike Judge's greatest creative work is Office Space, not Beavis and Butthead or that awful King of the Hill.

Why this movie is funny--It's TRUE. You have to laugh at the antics of Peter and his pals trying to climb the corporate ladder. Gary Cole is the quintessential 'clueless' manager who cares very little about his staff. Various other corporate types (the office weirdo, the chirpy receptionist) round out a workplace most of us can relate to very easily.
My favorite characters, however, are THE BOBs...efficiency experts who are easily duped by Peter who 'doesn't care any more' and 'who reveals shocking truths about the corporate world."
Do not judge this film but the horrible spliced up mess they show on Comedy Channel every few months. You MUST see the uncut, video or dvd version to get the full effect.
