Very dark movie...I predicted most of what was going to happen but has a very powerful ending. Christian Bale is an amazing actor in this film

I admire Bale's dedication to the role, but he was let down by horrible acting by his supporting cast. I liked the fact that the film was loaded with symbolism and other clues and riddles to what's really going on. But the actress that played Marie r... (read more)

the premise is bullshit, he'd be dead long before a year would have passed. if not from physical ailments, then from the mental breakdown he'd get. its simply unrealistic that he's not already dead or hadn't kill himself.
