Very dark movie...I predicted most of what was going to happen but has a very powerful ending. Christian Bale is an amazing actor in this film

I liked the fact that the film was loaded with symbolism and other clues and riddles to what's really going on. But the actress that played Marie really ruined the movie.
the premise is bullshit, he'd be dead long before a year would have passed. if not from physical ailments, then from the mental breakdown he'd get. its simply unrealistic that he's not already dead or hadn't kill himself.
I though this film was really unintentionally funny.. Its was great to watch.. Very odd Film
Trevor's not sleeping, so you live the nightmare for him. I'm sorry. I can't finish this review. I'm tired...

I don't think i saw anything in this movie coming and what is worse you see everything in the movie is kinda foreshadowing! Who are you? is the stikie note at the begining of the movie and i think something that it is really asking is, "is he the kinda person who can live with killing people?" and i mean you can tell that he is deeply disturbed by his actions and finds himself going mad because he can't open up to the truth. What a great film!
has every ingredients a CHRISTIAN BALE fan expects frm him . . .grt effort frm BALE to loose weight. . .deserves to win . .!!!!
a very good and well-thought movie. some subtle allusions to dostoevsky..
Bale proves why he's the second greatest living actor with his performance and transformation in this film.
Critic Reviews
It's one of those movies that you admire more than you enjoy, but Anderson and Kosar are clearly talents to watch.full review
Mainly this is all Bale's show. He is strangely sympathetic, taking us right into Trevor's pain without any special pleading.full review
If grimly atmospheric studies in alienation are your cup of tea, you should find director Brad Anderson's dark brew especially tasty.full review
The director Brad Anderson, working from a screenplay by Scott Kosar, wants to convey a state of mind, and he and Bale do that with disturbing effectiveness.full review
A stylish but fatally shallow puzzler that suggests a Twilight Zone episode filmed on the leftover sets of Seven.full review
Watching it, I kept wondering: What, exactly, is the point? The movie sustains its ominous hum, but in the end, it doesn't really give you all that much to think about.full review
Anderson tightens the screws of suspense, but it's Bale's gripping, beyond-the- call-of-duty performance that holds you in thrall.full review
