An interesting hockey movie. A few funny moments, but not a film people need to rush and see.

No individual performance stands out, though I enjoyed the cameo by Mike Myers. Instead, this movie is comprised of a bunch of average acting jobs. The National Anthem sequence was hysterical, but someone missed the memo explaining that more scoring doesn't equal more exciting. I'd recommend this movie to anybody who is a hockey fan. Unfortunately, if you are just looking for a great story, you won't find it in this film.
This is very much a formulated inoffensive film. A perfectly enjoyable underdog story.
Crowe puts in a nice enough performance without ever really being asked to do anything that pushes his acting range.

Russell Crowe gives an early show of his acting chops, but nobody else takes the job seriously so he looks even more out of place than ever. "Champions/Mighty Ducks" is a better film.

The story is unique and fun, and aside from the aforementioned actors the rest of the cast was well done. Not the best Hockey movie by any means but it is still a fun film.
Decently entertaining hockey film. *SPOILER* I kinda like when the "good guys" lose every once and a while in films.
Great characters, great story, great script. I thought it had a good balance between drama and comedy for a feel-good movie, and it wasn't always as predictable as I thought it might be.
