If every flick did that, they wouldn't be near as good. You like to hear yourself talk. Sharon Stone and Ellen were great together telling a touching story! She didn't (or more appropriately her character) DIDN'T go out and get laid because her character was in love with Ellen's. Pretty fundamental here, you think??! Holy cow..... Be sure to quote the obvious....
This is a keeper if you collect. There is a 'If These Walls Could Talk'.

The first two stories were decent and believable, but the third with Ellen Degeneres and Sharon Stone was just absurd. Unfortunately the third story is the one that sticks in your mind and leaves the impression and it just fell flat. This film would be much more satisfying if the third segment was removed completely.

Not only does it give visability to minimalized herstory it shows the difference and progress of lesbian rights through three generations. All three stories are very different, entertaining, moving and poinent. Finally a real life lesbian plays a lesbian role and therefore gets the passion of the sexuality accurate. The only time I have seen this in a movie, thanks to Ellen. Important and educating herstory, humourous, touching and sexy. A great movie.
Powerful, odd and several moments where you can easily crack up. Not as accurate as one would like for the lesbian experience but some great points and nice retorts to the homophobe agenda;)
Beautiful. Moving. And was completely surprised to find out Ellen has a really great rack! LoL

Chloe Sevigny, Michelle Williams, and Natasha Lyonne have all portrayed lesbians before... I wonder if there's something behind it? *one can only hope*
I'd recommend it even to someone who was iffy about "gay" cinema.
