the build up and showdowns are immense, needs to be watched straight after Vol 1 and judged as one film.

Tarantino released it in two parts because he didn't think anyone wanted to sit thru a 3 hour movie (even tho he did it with Grindhouse- it was a journey, but well worth it!) I especially liked Bill's (David Carradine) dialogue about Beatrix being a superhero and the mythology behind them. Also, can you imagine a scarier way to die in being buried alive? Thank God for Pei Mei's training.
I far prefer the first one, mostly because this one is too soppy in the end. The ending totally ruins it for me
the final scene with David Carradine left me sooo disappointed after the first movie
Una de samurais con alma de western. O un western con alma de una samurais? En cualquier caso esta buenisima...
The second half is just about as gut wrenching as its predecessor, but this one strikes home with its overall simplicity. It's slower paced, but a lot more rewarding.

I gotta say though, it wasn't nearly as good as the first volume was. Don't get me wrong, this film continued the storyline from the first film very well and had some great action sequences. But, this movie was based more on flashbacks leading up to the first movie and also the emotional connection between The Bride and Bill. It was less action and more revealing of the plot and past events. The first Bill film had way more gore and action. But this had a great fight scene that shall never be forgotten. If you liked the first one, then you will like this as well, but volume 1 is still highly superior to this one....volume 2. This was, however, a great ending to this double featrue and a very good action movie overall.
people didn't like this movie too much -- it's hard to follow kill bill vol 1. but i liked it - if you don't see it, you'll wish you had.

A witty and entertaining action movie.full review
A film richer in every way than its illustrious, callow predecessor.full review
Kill Bill, Volumes 1 and 2 are great fun, but when they're over there's nothing to make us question our addiction to violent fantasies of retribution. The whole is a little less than the sum of its volumes.full review
Kill Bill, Vol. 2 is every bit as wild a joyride as its prelude, but packed with richer, more resonant characters.full review
You'll thrill to the action, savor the tasty dialogue and laugh like bloody hell.full review
