I bought this because of Winona Ryder, but more so because of Thomas Wilson Brown. YUM!
this was the movie that shaped what kind of teenager i'd become. i remember identifying with her alienation from her parents, and being different from her school mates. i loved the locks on her bedroom door...and how she got along better with animals... Off beat to the point of it being a skipping record. It was fun to see a bunch of good actors playing some wack-a-doo parts.
It's for sure not memorable but I enjoyed rewatching it after all these years.
A joy to watch. Roxy Carmichael, where've you been all my life?!!!
Very light and fluffy but I was in a light and fluffy mood when I watched it.
Small time girl with big delusions. i think the insecurity Ryder's character had has some truth for most young women of that age in some form or another.
Though not critically as good as the other eighties teen angst-fests, I love this movie because of the great characters.
I LOVE this Movie!!!.Thomas Wilson Brown is so cute and the story line is so teriffic! Nice feel good movie...it's something different.~_~ all teens can relate to it, especially girls.
