Interesting and well acted not the best for either actress but still enjoyable
Good single mother perspective on raising teenagers... or maybe just from my view :D
Nice Teaming OF Natalie & Susan As A Free Spirit Mother and Her Level Headed Daughter
i have a new appreciation for sarandon. she pulled of her character really well. love natalie although some of her scenes were not great. the story is hard to swallow because it does touch on some pretty difficult subjects. good show.
Gone to soon. Mother and Daughter Story, teenage years, finally graduates High School, goes to college.

Adele and her daughter Ann set out from their small town to make new lives in Beverly Hills. The daughter longs to be independent, while the mother tries to cling ever tighter. Nothing really special or outstanding about this film, but it's still a welcome addition to any video collection, and it's worth the price of admission just to see the two main characters interact.

Critic Reviews
You start wishing you were anywhere but here -- preferably at last year's far funnier Slums of Beverly Hills.full review
Sarandon bravely makes Adele into a person who is borderline insufferable. This isn't Auntie Mame, but someone with deep conflicts and inappropriate ways of addressing them. And Ann is complex, too.full review
