Very poorly put together. Although at the beginning I must say there were at least two stories worth watching.
Interesante ejercicio cinematográfico. En pocos minutos, y a veces casi sin palabras, es capaz de transmitir una idea clara de los personajes.
have seen much better shorts (even of semi-professional filmmakers) than these. i only watched it cause of the great cast, but i was highly dissapointed. one star only for the story at the end with james gandolfini which i found is quite a good conce... The best of the bunch is "Bangers" with Cate Blanchett playing a mad woman. She was fantastic! Deborra-Lee Furness' (Hugh Jackman's wife) short "Standing Room Only" was fun also although Hugh Jackman lovers will be disappointed by his lack of dialogue and presence in it. "Supermarket" with Illeana Douglas and Jeff Goldblum was very weird and I didn't really get the point Illeana was trying to make with it. "The Same" was very disturbing but artsy (no dialogue at all) and it says it stars Josh Hartnett but he's only in it for 3 very brief (seconds) scenes. "A Whole New Day" isn't too bad and James Gandolfini is always compelling to watch but "New Year's Eve" with Keira Knightly (also not really the start of the piece) was just boring and I didn't really get "Eustace Road" with Paul Bettany either, although I like him a lot. You can skip this one unless you really like weird, artsy shorts.
An uneven misfire. Some of the stories are awful and some are actually good. Cate Blanchett's portion is good, and a real show of her talents. Also good is Hugh Jackman's fun and silly portion. yeah ummm...dont know what it was going for..but i didnt get it..im sure all the actors participated in it as a favour to hugh jackman since his wife directed it...but theres no semblance to this at all..none of thme link together..some have no point... I think some neat UK and Aussie actors and such but I felt annoyed by two of the six films.
They certainly kept the best story for last. But the story with Hugh Jackman is cute and funny. And the story with Cate Blanchett is appropriately crazy.
watched it for twenty minutes and then took it back to Blockbuster with a note that said Worst Movie Ever... So yeah, it sucked

Mostly I was glad to have watched the good despite the bad one's presence. 'Bangers' starring Cate Blancett was definitely my favorite and the centerpiece of the whole thing (though special mention goes to 'A Whole New Day' with Gandolfini being a slightly more urban Tony and "Supermarket" with real life actors working in a supermarket). Overall fun collection of shorts.
Some of the stories were boring, others were good, the first one was just odd. Entertaining enough as a whole.
