It's one of the comedies the youth will hold forever.

I have found it: The Cameron Crowe movie that isn't incredible lame! (Well Almost Famous was really good, but the presence of Jimmy Fallon watered it down significantly) It is interesting to see Sean Penn in a comedic role. Especially someone who is well known for being overly-serious about everything in real life. I guess the closest thing from today that someone can compare this to, would be an Apatow film, which is way off from what this is. that goes to show they don't make films like this anymore, and they won't make films 20 years from now like the ones Apatow makes now. Apparently Nicholas Cage was in this. I didn't notice him, which was a plus.

Sean Penn's Charachter wasn't the usual depressed man you usually see him play. It was odd seeing him play such a loose devil-may-care attitude character.

I recommend it.

A watchable and somewhat classy comedy.
