John Candy`s best moment, without a doubt. Another comedy at the shitend of the eighties, that made everyday childhood survivable.

love john candy! this is just dumb fun, but candy is so likable, you can't help giving this one a better rating than you would if anyone else did it.

For novelty and a tribute to John Candy, I give this a perfect review. He was the greatest Canadian performer there ever was.

(read more) I saw Planes Trains and automobiles, Summer Rental, Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors and I have to say they all rocked because of John Candy. But this one here Who's Harry Crumb was so funny I could not stop laughing I mean the part that could not stop laughing at is when John Candy was in the air duct and Jeffery Jones's character turns it on and John Candy moves fast and hits Joe Flaherty. Harry (John Candy) is the latest generation of the Crumbs, famous and extremely talented detectives. Unfortunately, talent seems to have skipped a generation, and Harry is reduced to "gumshoe" work at a remote branch of the Crumb detective agency. Back at headquarters, Crumb executive Elliot Draison (Jeffrey Jones) hatches an evil plan, which requires the inclusion of an incompotent detective. With Harry Crumb on the case, Draison thinks everything will run fine for him. Despite his best efforts, Crumb actually makes some headway in the case there were lots of funny moments in this film that were memorable.

There is nothing really standout about this movie, besides the lovable John Candy. But it has nostalgic appeal to me.

Lacklustre comedy. Candy is very much himself but there is little to work with in this film with a disinterested supporting cast.

this movie's amazing I was laughing my ass off when he flys out of the air vent with the quarters. haha this is a pink panther/mr. magoo type comedy. this movie is timeless.

What can I say? John Candy at his dopey best. Dated, but still hilarious. "You find that crazy typewriter and you'll have your kidnappers."
