Is it "after the apocalypse"? Check. Any car chases and 'splosions? Check. Realistic lady-bots? Check. Is Melanie Griffith in it as a mercenary? ...well that's just odd...

Absolutely ridiculous!
A whole film made out of the fact that a man wants a robot to shag.

Although its heart is in the right place, Ultimately the film can't manage the mechanics of its own science fiction story. The world it creates looks cheap and thrown together as does its action scenes.

complete lack of logical plotlines coupled with complete overabundance of rocket launchers. Also a totally inaccessible romantic relationship between a man and a robot even when faced with the proposition of a real, live vagina.

Odd 80s sci-fi western plays like a watered-down mash-up of 'Mad Max' and 'Blade Runner'. Melanie Griffith is woefully miscast (as usual). Actually, it's a pretty awful movie, incredibly cheesy - but kind of entertaining for that reason.

Wahaha! I don't know how I ever missed this one. Bad acting + bad directing + loads of cheese = AWESOMENESS!!! Although the ending could be better. If it were me, I would have went with the sexbot.

A really weird movie. When I was watching it I couldn't tell if this was trying to be a B movie or not. It was entertaining I guess with a good cast of characters including Robert Z'dar and Brion James. Also random cameo by Lawrence Fishbourne.
