Una historia de Stephen King ya te garantiza cierto nivel de emocion! y luego le agregas un Anthony Hopkins con su contraparte infantil y tienes una uy buena y entretenida pelicula!
hasta algo obscura si lo quieres ver con esos ojos.

It was going along nicely, and then it just kind of ended. So, inevitably, I didn't really get the point of this movie. And, ps, the mother doesn't actually grow as a character, even though we were supposed to believe she does. For example, she buys her son's love with that bike, never actually apologizes for anything, and will probably still use her sexuality to advance her new career in Massachusetts, as evidenced by the way she looks at her make up in the last scene she's in. So, basically, this movie is all right. But not that worth it. Watch Simon Birch instead.
Also, every time I hear the title of this movie, I think of "Random Hearts" starring Harrison Ford and what's-her-face-skinniest-who-looks-like-that-famous-figure-skater-from-the-late-90s, which is another movie whose ending sucks.
Persahabatan antara Bobby Garfield dan Bob Brautigan yang memaknai kehidupan mereka. Tidak ketinggalan sentuhan halus pesan turut ditampilkan...
"Sir Hopkins menyentuh kita semua..."

Its not a horror story, but a reflection of a life, and in a lot of ways, that's the best kind of Stephen King story. Full of nostalgia, heartbreak, and triumph, it really spoke to me. Better than I was lead to believe.
i didn't really understand the part about special powers but i really liked anthony hopkins and anton yelchin and the historic backdrop.

The one story that the film focuses on (the longest one in the book) is a bit of a black sheep, as it's the only one that doesn't revolve around the Vietnam war and it's the only one to contain supernatural elements. Luckily they toned down a lot of the supernatural stuff (in the book it gets stupidly weird) but they also toned down much of the other aspects that gave the story impact. It seems that it's all too easy to make Stephen King novels into cheesy films, and this one is no exception.

The movie is just missing out the final surprise which is bothering me a bit. With some clever end climax this would've been fantastic but now it's just okay.
Un bon petit film!!!
Basé sur une nouvelle de Stephen King... dur à croire...
Personally, I loved this movie. The acting was awesome! Plus the cinematography was amazing. Plus I go to school where they shot a lot of the outside scenes.
