Truth is that this movie isn't about boxing, it's a about one man's drive to achieve greatness and prove to himself that he can "go the distance". Gosh, it's about TIME I saw this movie already. Watched this as well as Rocky II this week and really liked both. Now I understand why guys jogging on the street and on gym treadmills throw air punches while they run.
This was the beginning to an era in movies. I will one day own them all -- only have Rocky 4 for now. LOVE IT
