It is a nice movie about how important is to have a family and how we forget that when we have it! Great performance of Bow Wow. =)

"Like Mike" feels like the dying breath of the 90's family film. It's lighthearted, a little fantastic and lacks any sort of cynicism. It's very solid and especialy fun if your into basketball. The player cameos are great.

Nothing in this movie is of any particular interest to me. Even if basketball is my favorite sport.

The movie overcomes its lack or originality in the setup by making good use of its central idea, that a pair of sneakers could make a kid into an NBA star.

In the long, dishonorable history of quickie teen-pop exploitation, Like Mike stands out for its only partly synthetic decency.
