Whiskey Galore meets How Green Was My Valley... but minus any of the charm and with Hugh Grant. Just about bearable on a wet Sunday afternoon.
Un film gentiller, mais fort sympathique. Hormis l'abominable Hugh Grant, on y retrouve un galerie d'acteur et de personnage plutot amusant.
Despite Hugh Grant, this is a really enjoyable wee film, similar in tone to The Dish.
This movie is very cute, quaint, funny, brilliant, ... I'm running out of adjectives. Oh yes, and it has perhaps the longest name for a movie.
hmm. how does one describe an immense pile of shit eloquently? well, i don't know so, stay away from the bad most everything.

I really liked this movie - seen it a few times in fact - very funny true story. Well told. Hugh Grant is perfectly cast.
A charming story about Welsh community changing the hill to the mountain.

Having read the book I had to see the and thanks to the simple tale, transferred very well to the screen. Full of familiar faces and great characters this is a film that celebrates the uniqueness of being British.
Another great English comedy!! Hillarious and full of (shall i say) "proper" humour, instead of easy one-liners.... Really enjoyed it and Hugh Grant is for once more acting great in a comedy.
