One of the worst movies I have ever seen. I will never get the time back I wasted watching this. Even Jack Black was horrible in this.

The main cast was pretty good. I don't know why they had so many celebrity cameos, though. I am also was not impressed with the message of the film which was, no matter were you go, you are always going to be surrounded by airheads; it was a little too cynical, although I cannot say I entirely disagree with it. It was also balanced out by the other, more message which was that even if your community is messed up, it can still make you stronger as a human being. However, that is not to say the movie is really deep. I mean, it also has Harold Ramis accidently popping pills and John Lithgow threatening to eat someone's face. Sooo... watch it if you want a cheap laugh, if you know what I mean.
Finally saw this and really enjoyed it! Great cast, cute story, worth a look.

There are laugh-out-loud moments and some well-observed satire, but when the movie tries to get serious, it collapses.full review
A piece of mildly entertaining, inoffensive fluff that drifts aimlessly for 90 minutes before lodging in the cracks of that ever-growing category: unembarrassing but unmemorable.full review
One of those movies like Ghost World and Legally Blonde where the description can't do justice to the experience.full review
