Topsy-turvy horror tale... you think you know what to expect, but you don't. You think you know what's going on and who's behind it, but you don't. I own this movie, it's so good!
It made me jump a few times and the story was pretty interesting. Not amazing, but a well made thriller.

Overall it kept me interested, and some of the twists were very fun. However, the best part of this was easily the bathtub scene - how intense was that?! Another good one to watch if you're in the mood for creepiness - not the best, but some great tension and a few good scares.

And it's definitely a rare movie when Harrison Ford actually dies. He's always the hero but he definitely played the reverse well. It was a pretty good movie. I enjoyed watching it. You really got pulled into the mystery behind the movie. The only draw back was the very end and the dead girl being the one to grab his hand and hold him back from killing her. That didn't fit with the genre of the movie very well and I didn't really like that part but other than that, it was good.
"You stole the dead woman's shoe?"
"Are we hoping the ghost is going to have to use the potty?"
What is it about Harrison Ford? He gets all the ladies... Decent movie, not nearly as suspense-ie than I was expecting, but ok anyway.

Its sad that its opening hour gives the impression of a taut supernatural suspense film, and its ending gives the impression of overblown waste of my time, and its unfortunate that Robert Zemickis took it more than a step or two too far. If you're interested, Michelle Pfeifer is contacted by the spirit of a dead womanl, and a deep dark mystery ensues. I would suggest you skip it, however.
dont ever watch this movie, it sucks, and just so you arnt tempted to watch.. harrison ford did it. but if you have half a brain cell you will work this out in the 1st 10 seconds of the film. it really really sucks, trust me !!

You know some movies are just so bad that you have to waste a few more minutes of your life trashing it and for me, this IS IT! The movie wasn't actually that bad, really. What damaged it was that a friend of mine who saw the movie told us how bloody good and scary it was. So there I was, looking forward for a good quality scare. With all the hype at the time, I expected no less but how wrong was I. Right from the start, the plot was extremely, absolutely predictable. I mean every twist and turn, every scare be it just cheap scare tactic like a loud bang or a cat jumping towards the character, or actual ghostly images or the who-dun-it part - I absolutely nailed it. In fact just the first few scenes, I started to tell my friend what I thought would be next and bamm! It went the way as predicated. It was sooooo predictable that at some point it became comedic because it was now sooooo bad that it was funny to watch. OK perhaps it's because I've watched too many films of the same genre that nothing in the movie is new to me but come on! Some originality please?! Needless to say I left the cinema felt totally "entertained" in a bad way. Maybe it's just. It's ok if you did enjoy it. We just have different taste and expectation. I set mine too high and felt disappointed, that's all.
Critic Reviews
Lacking a smarter screenplay, it milks the genuine skills of its actors and director for more than it deserves, and then runs off the rails in an ending more laughable than scary.full review
Pushes every obvious button and then fumbles around for some of the more recessed ones.full review
