John Travolta trades in his polyester disco duds for a cowboy hat in this love story about Bud, a working stud whose whirlwind marriage to Sissy (Debr...(read more...) a Winger) breaks up over fears of infidelity. Their relationship turmoil plays out inside a huge honky-tonk hangout called Gilley's. Kitschy and fun, the movie did for mechanical bulls what Travolta had done for white polyester suits a few years prior.
