I never heard of Hellboy before this film. I was fascinated by it. It was a great superhero film with a corky sense of humor that works. Guillermo del Torro was the right director for this project.

There's just something about this movie. It can be on TV for the hundredth time in a row, and I'll still sit there and watch it. Beautiful cinematography, with bold colors and designs.

It's got tons of visual flair, and the performances and one liners are pretty good, which help to make up for the overbusy story and the muddled, convoluted background mythology.

This was one fun ride from start to finish was never to familiar with the comics but after seeing this artful piece of film I will have to check out the comic that inspired this film.

This was fantastic! Wow, much better than I had imagined...but what do you expect with Del Torro? Can't wait to watch the sequel. And a prequel would be awesome!

This is a really fun film. del Toro brings his visual style to the comics and it works. It could have been better and I have to wonder if some interesting cuts happened. Very excited to watch the second one.
