I also love how the film jumps right into The Batman story not messing with origins except for a tiny flashback halfway through. Michael Keaton is a solid Bruce Wayneâ¦his Bats is a little creaky but that just might be the fact that he can barely move in that suit. Kim Bassinger is totally unnecessary and what is Arliss doing in Gotham City? And those Prince songsâ¦naw, I still like those! VF.
I think I enjoyed this even more than the Nolan movies. It is more interesting visually, it has great music, an interesting enigmatic portrayal of Batman, a wonderful Joker (tied with Ledger) and overwhelming style.
