obviously the story is good because it's based on michael crichton's amazing book. could have been a better movie though with better acting.
tylsää. Keskiajalla seikkailu ois voinu olla paaaljo kiinnostavampikin....
King Leonidas, Paul Walker and 80 million dollars star in Timeline. Very PG-13, it seemed especially bad after watching King Arthur. It's a cheesy kids movie, I prefer National Treasure.
The film is lazily created and assembled like a made-for-tv movie, true to the mould of a SciFi original. It is poorly shot and the acting is unconvincing to say the least. The whole mess is a terribly disappointing waste of opportunity.

Not a great movie, by any means, but I have a good time when ever I catch this playing on tv or at the local library. David Thewlis is Crazeh! Gerard is cool.
I like archaeologists, Michael Crichton and time travel and everything.. but this was movie was just too lame.

An accidental comedy trapped in sci-fi/action garb, like those actors swathed in their medieval tunics, stumbling and lurching along.full review
Plays out like a 1950s B-movie with a fat special-effects budget.full review
Just once I'd like to see a time-travel movie inspired by true curiosity about the past, instead of by a desire to use it as a setting for action scenes.full review
