obviously the story is good because it's based on michael crichton's amazing book. could have been a better movie though with better acting.

King Leonidas, Paul Walker and 80 million dollars star in Timeline. Very PG-13, it seemed especially bad after watching King Arthur. It's a cheesy kids movie, I prefer National Treasure.

The film is lazily created and assembled like a made-for-tv movie, true to the mould of a SciFi original. It is poorly shot and the acting is unconvincing to say the least. The whole mess is a terribly disappointing waste of opportunity.

It's a shame that Michael Chrichton's name is attached to this movie. He wrote such a good book and they filled the movie with such awful actors (especially Paul Walker). The good performances were only good by comparison and the story was almost a... (read more)
