They were hearty men in those days. Men who, like Bartholomew Hunt and Leslie Edwards, made sure that when adventure called, it got a wrong number. Chris Farley and Matthew Perry team with director Christopher Guest (Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show) to venture into uncharted comedy territory. Where explorers Lewis and Clark go, Hunt (Farley) and Edwards (Perry) follow, hoping to overtake the famed expeditioners and be the more fiery trailblazers. In a land dotted with bears, native tribes, pioneer outposts and wandering conquistadors having a bad hair day, is there not also room for two more adventurers eager to make a name for themselves? Westward ho-ho-ho!

This one is a lot of fun. Chris Farley had some great scenes (the eagle and the egg, learning the alphabet), and Matthew Perry wasn't so bad either. Overall, "Almost Heroes" is just a fun comedy.

When it comes to this movie, 'almost' doesn't count. Unfortunately this was Farley's final film, but we've seen him in a much better light than this.
Only decent. It was funny at times, but just wasn't too interesting. It wasn't a complete waste of time like I thought it would be, though.
I think it's the Last Film Farley Did. I really Liked it and my Friend was rolling on the floor the entire movie.
Screw the critical consensus on this one, I think this movie is hilarious. It's a damn shame that Chris Farley died so young.
Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit.
Unfortutantly Kris Farley's last movie, too bad it was shit. Same with John Candy in Wagons East(Shit) and Raul Julia in Street Fighter(Shit) These guys deserved better.
