Seizing the opportunity, Nick gallantly offers to make her wish come true--and his own in the process--by bringing seven-year-old Kevin and eleven-year-old Lindsey up from Portland, Oregon to be reunited with their mom. What Nick doesn't know is that Suzanne's children think that no man is good enough for their mom and will do everything they can to make the trip a nightmare for him. Fasten your seat belts; it's going to be a bumpy ride.

I like this movie very much. It is very funny when the kids drives Nick Persons car . This movie is better than any movie in the world. Because
Ice Cube was very funny. But Nia Long was not funny.
Pretty good, and try to watch it on TV if it comes on. It's kind of funny, I guess, since I laughed out loud (LOL'd) a few times through it. It's shallow, but pretty much worth a view or two. It's another stupid family movie where you're supposed to laugh at farting and peeing, but it was somehow interesting. Just try it.
Critic Reviews
The gags seem pretty lame even by the standards assiduously applied by most 8-year-olds.full review
Shows children behaving in ways that go right to the edge of absolute evil, and who are snotty and charmless besides. At the same time, the movie demands that we should feel warm toward those kids after all.full review
I would have loved to see a genuine love story involving Ice Cube, Nia Long, and the challenge of a lifelong bachelor dating a woman with children. Sad that a story like that couldn't get made, but this shrill 'comedy' could.full review
Ice Cube is an essentially soft-screen presence despite the assumed belligerence of his shtick. His knotted scowl hides a mushy middle of basic human decency.full review
Cube plays his part gamely, but the the film works against him.full review
The type of fluff usually reserved for the likes of Tim Allen or a post-Nutty Professor Eddie Murphy.full review
