Just finished watching this with subtitles...my first time. Sorta reminds me of Avatar in some ways. So epic! Even though it's an 11 year old movie now, it still shines epicness. So good. I highly recommend it!
Just finished watching this one again. What a great movie! The story is great and the animation is fantastic!
wow. it was beautiful, had a great message, and awesome characters! Only downside was that it was a little too long.
I really enjoy this movie. Everytime I watch it though i keep thinking i'm missing part of the story. Would be neat if there was a series.

This is definately one of Miyazki's highlight movies you must see. With a captivating story and characters, as well as some incredible special effects and visuals Mononoke is a must see. It is truly a beautiful piece of work.

The imagery, ranging from sublime mountain-smashing power to firefly delicacy (individual waterdrops splashing on a rock) is exuberant and intoxicating.full review
Princess Mononoke is a great achievement and a wonderful experience, and one of the best films of the year.full review
The movie has a scope that makes Hollywood's homiletic, follow - your - dream fables look even more solipsistic.full review
A windswept pinnacle of its art, Princess Mononoke has the effect of making the average Disney film look like just another toy story.
